This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology , alongside the etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and management of common disorders affecting major human body systems. Upon successful completion, students will be able to identify and explain disorders of the skeletal and muscular systems (e.g., due to genetics, aging, infection, or injury), nervous and endocrine systems, cardiovascular, respiratory, integumentary, immune and lymphatic systems, digestive (including pancreas), urinary, and reproductive systems; describe appropriate diagnostic approaches such as blood work, X-ray, and various imaging techniques; outline medical and surgical treatment options; and apply foundational knowledge of emergency medicine principles and medical ethics in the context of these conditions to support informed healthcare decision-making and patient care.
