About Course

This course provides a foundation in electrical circuits and electronic devices. It covers DC and AC circuit analysis, including Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, impedance, power, and power factor. Single-phase and three-phase systems are introduced with practical relevance. The course also addresses electrical wiring practices, grounding, and safety measures. Semiconductor devices such as diodes, transistors, FETs, and SCRs are studied along with their applications. Rectifiers, voltage regulators, and linear and switched-mode power supplies are explored to understand basic electronic hardware systems.
