About Course

Probability and Statistics is a fundamental branch of mathematics that deals with the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. It helps in understanding uncertainty, making predictions, and drawing meaningful conclusions from numerical information. Probability focuses on measuring the likelihood of events occurring, while Statistics involves organizing and analyzing data to support decision-making in various fields such as science, engineering, business, economics, medicine, and technology. This course introduces students to concepts such as random variables, probability distributions, sampling methods, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and statistical inference. By studying Probability and Statistics, learners develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and data interpretation skills that are essential for research, data science, machine learning, and real-world applications.
