About Course

Theory of Vibrations and Aeroelasticity deals with the study of oscillatory motion of aircraft structures and their interaction with aerodynamic forces. The theory of vibrations explains how mechanical systems such as wings and fuselage vibrate due to internal or external forces. Aeroelasticity studies the interaction between aerodynamic forces, structural elasticity, and inertia, which may lead to phenomena like flutter, divergence, and control reversal. This subject is important for designing safe and stable aircraft structures and preventing structural failure during flight.
