The Chief Guest—often a distinguished figure from the police or sports fraternity—hoisted the school flag and lit the Olympic torch, symbolizing the light of spirit and knowledge. The solemn oath-taking ceremony followed, where athletes pledged to compete with integrity and true sportsmanship.

Action on the Field

The silence of the stadium was soon broken by the starter’s pistol. The day featured a diverse array of events:

• Track Events: From the lightning-fast 100m dashes to the grueling long-distance runs and high-stakes 4x100m relays.

• Field Events: Displays of strength and technique in Shot Put and Long Jump.
