      World Environment Day

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June. It reminds us that the Earth is our home and that we must protect it. Clean air, fresh water, green trees, and healthy animals are all important for life. If we do not take care of nature, our future will be at risk.

Today, our environment faces many problems such as pollution, plastic waste, cutting down of forests, and climate change. These problems affect people, plants, and animals. We all have a responsibility to make the Earth a better place.

Students can also help the environment in simple ways. We can plant trees, save water, switch off lights and fans when not in use, and avoid using single-use plastic. We should keep our classrooms and surroundings clean and always throw waste into the correct bins. Recycling paper, bottles, and cans also helps reduce waste.

Every small action makes a big difference. If every person plants one tree, saves a little water, or uses less plastic, together we can create a cleaner and greener world. We should also encourage our family and friends to care for nature.

This World Environment Day, let us promise to respect and protect our planet. The Earth gives us everything we need, so it is our duty to care for it. Remember, there is no Planet B. Let us work together to keep our environment safe, beautiful, and healthy for ourselves and for future generations.
