    • 🚸 Basic Traffic Rules for Kids

Here are simple and important Indian traffic rules explained for kids:

      1. Walk on the Footpath

Always use the footpath (sidewalk). If there is no footpath, walk on the right side of the road facing traffic.

      2. Use Zebra Crossing
Cross the road only at the Zebra Crossing. Look right, left, and right again before crossing.

      3. Follow Traffic Lights
      Learn what each signal means:

      • 🔴 Red = Stop

      • 🟡 Yellow = Wait

      • 🟢 Green = Go

These are part of Traffic Signals.

      4. Obey Traffic Police
Always follow instructions given by Traffic Police, even if signals are not working.

      5. Don’t Run on the Road
Never play or run on the road. Roads are only for vehicles.

      6. Use Seat Belt
When sitting in a car, always wear a seat belt. It keeps you safe during sudden stops.

      7. Wear a Helmet
If you are on a bike or scooter, always wear a helmet—even as a passenger.

      8. Don’t Use Mobile While Walking
Stay alert. Don’t use phones or headphones while crossing roads.

      9. Wait for the School Bus Safely
Stand in a line and wait until the bus stops completely before getting in or out.

      10. Know Road Signs
Learn simple road signs like Stop, No Entry, and Speed Limit—they help keep everyone safe.
