Our school auditorium transformed into a hub of creative energy recently when Director Subash K. Raj visited our campus. Fresh off the massive success of his hit film, Blast, the filmmaker spent the day interacting with students, sharing his journey, and inspiring everyone in attendance.
Director Subash shared his unique backstory, reminding us that passions are always worth pursuing. After completing an engineering degree, he initially felt directionless. However, his life changed when he answered a social media call to work as an assistant director under

filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan. Through sheer hard work, he learned the ropes of cinema and eventually pitched his own script to AGS Entertainment, leading to his directorial debut.

The highlight of the event was how deeply he focused on empowering young minds. Rather than delivering a formal lecture, he spoke directly to our ambitions. He urged us to view our youth not as a limitation, but as our greatest creative strength. By sharing his transition from an uncertain student to a successful director, he proved that big dreams are achievable with grit, focus, and resilience.
During the lively Q&A session, students asked questions about scriptwriting, overcoming creative blocks, and handling pressure. Director Subash advised us not to fear initial uncertainty, emphasizing that doors will open if we remain dedicated to our vision.
The event concluded with a thundering round of applause and a felicitation ceremony by our Principal. Having a young trailblazer walk our hallways left the entire student body feeling deeply motivated. We left the auditorium not just as fans of his movie, but as empowered individuals ready to blast through our own challenges and conquer our future goals.
