POWER AMPLIFIERS AND SWITCHING CIRCUITS

Structure and Operation of Transformer coupled Class A, Class B push pull, Class AB push pull & Class C amplifiers – crossover distortion. Multivibrator – Astable, Monostable and Bistable multivibrator – Schmitt triggers.

FEEDBACK AMPLIFIERS AND OSCILLATORS

Advantages of negative feedback – voltage / current-series /shunt feedback – Positive Feedback – Condition for oscillations - Phase shift, Wien bridge, Hartley, Colpitts oscillators.
